MONTHLY WRITING WORKSHOP
All levels. All abilities. Writing prompts. Guest artists and writers. Community. Let's make art together to remember we can remake the world.
Join me for an affordable, monthly, virtual, generative writing workshop. 90 minutes, once a month, using a video platform so we can see each other. I'll lead us through writing exercises for an hour, and then I'll invite a special guest writer/artist to meet with us, share their favorite writing exercise, and field our questions.
The first Wednesday of the month:
Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 5 pm - 6:30pm PST (SPECIAL GUEST: Rhea Combs, Curator of Film & Photography at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture)
Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 5 pm - 6:30pm PST (SPECIAL GUEST: Katie Ford, poet, professor at UC Riverside, and author of If You Have to Go (Graywolf Press, 2018), Blood Lyrics (Graywolf Press, 2014), Colosseum (Graywolf, 2008), and Deposition (Graywolf Press, 2002).
All levels welcome. Writers and visual artists and grocery list makers and everything in between. Fun. Accountability. Craft. Creativity.
